“There should be more warning about the maintenance work. As someone on the night shift, I've been dealing with disruptions the whole time I've lived here, and it's really affected my health and wellbeing, as well as my studies.”

“A few of the beds are only small doubles, even though they’re marketed as proper double beds.”

“The only issue, and I get that it’s hard to fix because of where the place is, is that there’s no parking. Since we’re students, we can’t apply for a permit to park on the street through the council. From what I can tell, there aren’t any free parking options nearby either, and that’s causing trouble for a few of us.”

“The road noise is really loud, so maybe adding better soundproofing could help. But since it’s coming through the window, I’m not sure that would even work.”

“Adding more washing machines and dryers”

“Can we get an oven put in the kitchen, and also get the ringing outside to stop? I don’t really know what triggers it, but a lot of nights there’s this high pitched sound coming from outdoors. It lasts for such a long time that I start to feel a bit unhinged, honestly. It can be really overwhelming, but I just end up waiting it out. It’s especially miserable when I can’t drown it out at all.”

“We really need more washing machines and dryers. Having only two washers and two dryers for a building with more than a hundred students just isn’t enough. On top of that, it’s annoying that we have to pay to use the machines for both washing and drying.”

“If it’s possible, I’d love to see more laundry options, ideally a little cheaper.”
