“The neighbors are being really loud late at night.”

“If I had to pick one thing that could be better, it would be the bathroom size. They’re pretty small, and since I’m 6 foot 5, it gets annoying sometimes. Next year I’m going to pay for a room with a bigger bathroom so I can actually fit comfortably in the shower. That said, they are still usable, just a bit awkward and cramped now and then, which can feel a little claustrophobic.”

Later I found out that another person’s freezer had also broken two weeks earlier, and they were given a voucher for food. I didn’t get one, and that really bothered me. Since I pay for my flat on my own, having to replace all that food hit me financially that month.”

“The walls are so thin that I can literally hear what’s going on in rooms two doors away, and it really messes with my sleep. On top of that, the doors are pretty heavy, so when people close them I can hear it clearly.”
