“I’d really love it if the accommodation had a proper common area that students could use. Like a lounge space with couches and a table, and maybe even a pool table too, where people from Petros Court can just meet up and hang out with friends. Right now, me and my friends who live in Petros have to pick one of our flats, then use our keycards to let everyone in, which gets a bit annoying.”

“It would be really helpful to have a little whiteboard above the desks in the rooms. Then we could jot down anything we need to remember for assignments, instead of forgetting to write it down. Also, you would not constantly have it in your face while you are work studying, revising, or going over content, so it does not distract you. The main thing is it would stop you from missing that you actually have an assignment due. Even a small whiteboard would be enough to write what is due and when.”

“My apartment got flooded right after Christmas, and the staff were completely unhelpful.”

“There are more shared spaces, and I like that you get a lot more flexibility with how loud things can be.”

“Security is honestly terrible. They act really rude when it comes to doing their job, and it feels like they don’t care about the students at all. The other day, we got woken up at 5am for no reason because the security guys were in our flat talking way too loudly and their walkie talkies were blaring. And the day after, I went to pick up my mail, and one of the guards had the worst attitude.”

“There are only six washing machines and six tumble dryers, and they’re frequently broken or out of order, so having more of them would really help.”

“The desk chairs and mattresses here are way better, and since I switched, I’m not dealing with that pain anymore like before.”
