“I get that the building needed an update, but if the work wasn’t driven by any real structural urgency and it was mainly just for looks, then it should have been scheduled for a time that wouldn’t disrupt residents. Right now there’s nonstop construction noise, and the scaffolding plus the privacy screen outside my window makes it feel like I’m living in a cave. There’s hardly any sunlight coming in, and my room is already dark since it faces north. On top of that, the trains run right behind the building, so the noise is constant.”
