“I want it to feel more like home, cozy and welcoming. Honestly, right now it feels more like a prison building.”
“The bathroom I usually go to is really cramped. One of the bins is stuck in an awkward spot, so you cannot open it fully. Also, the toilet lid is missing and it does not flush reliably.”
“Stricter rules for students who smoke and constantly make a lot of noise in the apartment”
“We made clear agreements about who does what for chores and hygiene in the kitchen and the toilet and bathroom.”
“I’d suggest making the flatmates fill out a form that confirms they’ll take responsibility for the shared kitchen area, and that they’ll clean up after themselves. Because it honestly gets really gross, and then everyone else has to handle it even though they didn’t make the mess. I’d also replace the stove top. A bunch of the dial labels have faded, so you can’t easily tell which burner is which.”
“I’m not really a fan of my room because the walls make it feel like a prison. It’s a little uncomfortable, but honestly it’s not that bad.”
“I’d like it to come across as more cozy and home-like.”
“There’s more room, but the privacy is really lacking. Also, I can’t open the windows since they face right out onto the street.”
“Make it feel less like a jail cell.”
“The bathrooms are pretty outdated, and they just don’t work very well.”
