“No chatting in the hallways after 10pm.”

“I think we could really use some better showers. When I switch ours on in the apartment, it starts making this really high pitched whining sound, and they told me there’s basically nothing they can do. I’m not sure whether it’s just our place or the building in general, but either way it’s pretty inconvenient.”

“More than one sink in the kitchen so all 12 people can use it comfortably.”

“I like having my own kitchen, and I don’t have to hear every little thing my flatmates are doing, or what’s going on outside.”

“When it comes down to it, safety matters above everything else.”

“The bathroom is really tight. I can barely get into the shower, and it’s hard to move around in there. Even though I’m on the larger side, I’m sure there are people who are bigger than me who wouldn’t be able to fit at all, and that doesn’t feel fair or considerate. I know it’s not the accommodation staff’s fault since they can’t change the building layout, but if management is thinking about renovating, that’s something they should take into account in the Oaks and Pastures.”

“There are just too many people sharing the flat, so it’s hard to get any breathing room. On top of that, it’s difficult to find the time to cook in the kitchen.”

“There’s a lot more room in the shower, because the last one felt really cramped.”

“The chair is better, and we get more cleaning days from the place. That said, it seems like the students aren’t very clean.”
