“I get that this is out of our control, but there’s construction going on right outside that starts really early in the morning, and it sometimes ends up bothering me.”
“I feel like most of the people in my building are students on the same course, so they’ve got a real sense of community. That’s not really my situation though, so I think a few more events could help bring everyone together.”
“It’s a common social space for us to hang out, but I feel like it’s pretty easy for people here to end up feeling cut off from others.”
“Please sort out the closing mechanism on the fire doors. The walls are really thin, and when the fire doors slam shut it wakes the whole flat, like when bedroom doors get slammed. Even other students have said they can hear the door slamming from neighboring flats, it is that loud.”
“There’s a room with indoor games, including ping pong.”
“We’d have shared areas where everyone can mingle. It’s really easy for people to end up feeling alone socially.”
“Honestly, I can’t think of anything to say.”
