“The internet service isn’t great, so I really need a stronger connection.”
“Maybe set aside some study time in the common area so it’s quiet.”
“distance to the university”
“if the drying machines were better at drying”
“I wish there were more social activities happening right at the accommodation.”
“Honestly, the small boilers in blocks 10 and 11 just do not cope with the 6-person flats in there. Because of that, it can be really hard to get a proper hot shower even as early as 7:30 some mornings. I think that is completely unacceptable, especially considering the accommodation costs about £8,000 per academic year. What makes it worse is that this issue does not happen in the main block 17. I know this because I lived there before, then left and restarted my degree. Having experienced both, it has seriously knocked my confidence in recommending this place. I can say the location is great and it is fairly quiet, but I always have to warn people about the cold showers.”
“Mold has grown around the windows in my room. Please repair the windows and improve the airflow so the mold goes away.”
“It’s really close to the main campus and all the other conveniences.”
“My rent feels way too high for what I’m actually supposed to pay.”
