“It would be better if it were closer to town.”

“It’s a little way out from the city, but I guess that’s something you can’t really change. I’d also love to see more info and more awareness about sorting waste. A lot of people do not really know what belongs in each bin, and that you should not put bin liners in the recycling bin.”

“I just wish the kitchen closet had more cleaning supplies. Our place doesn’t include a broom, and that would really come in handy. Also, I think there should be at least two fridges since I’m sharing the flat with five other people. We get by just fine, and I’m honestly happy with my flatmates, but an extra fridge, or even a couple of mini fridges, would make things a lot easier.”

“The heater shuts off every couple of hours, but when I’m asleep I can’t get up in time to turn it back on. By night it’s going to get really cold.”

“I think the staff could be a bit more friendly.”

“Look for a place close to a swimming pool, a playground, or even a tennis and badminton court. Ideally, there would be a gym nearby too, with all those options. The University gym at Pleasance is a bit too far from where we’re staying.”

“The setup of the shared kitchen is really important here. At Brae House it has a really “homely” vibe, but New Park feels a bit dull and kind of empty.”

“The place is really loud. The doors are super heavy and they shut with a big bang. Even the windows that face the entrance let in a lot of noise.”
