“The management needs to be changed. Paul Dohonue clearly does not understand that this job involves international students whose English is not their first language. The biggest issue, and honestly the most uncomfortable part of the situation he created, was how he spoke. I personally asked him several times to adjust his speech for us, but surprisingly he didn’t seem to want to. He talks extremely fast, and he uses slang and street-style jargon. I came here to study, and I worked hard to learn academic English. I can understand all of my finance professors, but I cannot understand him. He does not separate his words clearly, so it feels like he assumes I should be able to follow street slang. He made things difficult for my whole life here without considering our request for him to speak more slowly and in proper English.”

“More events and better security, plus intercom access in Studio. The staff at the reception desk should be there, especially on weekends. Right now, anyone can walk in through the entrance and follow another student into the building.”

“More room in the closet. Weekly events. There’s a person at the reception desk to handle parcels on weekends and in the evenings.”
