“The place could use a few tweaks. The tap by the sink is really awkward to use since the water splashes all over the place, and there’s also a noticeable gap between the faucet and the sink, which feels uncomfortable and just isn’t very practical. Plus, there are no power outlets close to the bed.”

“The place could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly before we moved in.”

“During the first term, the roofing work is extremely loud, and it can be really disruptive. Honestly, it would have been better if it had been done over the summer before residents moved in.”

“Getting into my flat after midnight is really annoying because the main entrance in the foyer gets locked, so I have to go a different way at night. As a woman on campus, I do feel fairly safe, but you can never be 100 percent sure. It would be great if there were a simpler route to access Flat 15 after 12am, because that would make me feel a lot safer.”

“There’s more mixing between the flats, but that’s not really the university’s fault. The accommodation itself is absolutely fantastic.”

“Price. My sister was paying 98 a week for an ensuite room at Liverpool uni, but I’m paying 146 for a place with a shared bathroom. The recycling setup is really good, but there isn’t a green bin for food waste. Overall it’s cheaper and the student parking is easier to access.”
