“I feel like the showers could be bigger. There just isn’t enough room, and I keep ending up with water on the floor. If they updated or modernised the showers, that would really help. That said, I genuinely like the rooms. They’re really spacious, and the kitchens are really nice too. My only other issue is the building setup, George Fox. Since the lecture halls and a restaurant are underneath us, the bottom area gets closed at night. So when I go to the library and come back, I can’t use the elevator and I have to take the stairs, and I’m on the top floor. It can feel pretty daunting sometimes. I know the elevator is closed because of the lecture halls and restaurant downstairs, but it would still be great to have another back entrance with elevator access, or maybe an elevator that only residents can use, like from the quieter side of the building. That would be really useful.”

“Price, I started this year at Salford Uni in Peel Park, and I was paying way less than I am here. The accommodation there was also miles better.”

“I really wish there were more of a community vibe in our building. It would be great if there were more opportunities for people in different flats to actually communicate. In the meantime, having a more welcoming shared lounge would probably help.”
