“I really wish the walls were thicker and better at blocking sound, because there’s a lot of noise leaking in from the other rooms. The bathrooms and kitchens also feel a bit dated, and they could use some updates to look more modern. For instance, I’d love to see new kitchen counters and fridges, and the showers could be swapped for ones that sit higher off the ground and include built-in shelf space.”

“Honestly, it would be a lot better if the bathroom was updated to a shower instead. Also, please fix the ceiling soon, and could you clean up the egg?”

“There were no burn marks on the kitchen countertops.”

“Honestly, the main thing that annoys me is my flatmates. I’m 20, for context, and two of them are in their late 40s, but they’re just… off. I’ve actually heard other people outside of my flat complain about them too. They don’t really seem to get social norms, they’re pretty immature, and they’re always leaving mess everywhere. On top of that, they have this way of making whoever’s around them feel uncomfortable. The problem is that they’re not doing anything that clearly breaks the rules, so I can’t really take any action. If I could change anything, I’d definitely move to a different flat within the same accommodation.”
