We end up feeling sidelined, especially when there are maintenance problems and other issues like that. If I could improve anything, it would be the management.”

“I found that the place doesn’t really have the basic equipment you’d expect. For example, there isn’t a hoover for the bedrooms or the communal areas, and there’s also no kitchen bin or kettle. I think the main improvement would be to add those items, especially the hoover. Most other accommodations I’ve seen include a hoover and sometimes even a cleaning service for the shared living spaces. It’s just inconvenient for students to have to buy their own hoover for something that is basically short term housing.”

“They upgraded the shared area in the apartment, like adding a smart TV, a newer microwave, and a newer fridge. They also provided a broom and a trash bin, which makes it easier for us to keep the common space clean more often.”
