“I feel like our community could be a lot stronger, because right now it seems like nobody really talks to or engages with each other.”

“The showers! Mine has flooded more than once, so some of my flatmates’ showers keep getting full of water. The fire alarms also go off a lot. They’re supposed to be tested on a Monday, but it usually runs for about five minutes, and sometimes it’s so early in the morning that it wakes people up. There have also been times when they just go off randomly.”

“The walls are much thicker, they’re really sturdy and well built.”

“I’m looking for term-time contracts because I’ve already wrapped up my university course for the summer and I’m heading back home to work. At the same time, I still need to cover a full rent payment even though I won’t be staying there.”

“I really wish the laundry prices were lower. It makes it hard to keep up with doing laundry when you’re a student and trying to save money.”

“I think residents could recycle a lot better. Right now, I do my part by sorting my recyclable cardboard and plastics away from general waste, but in the end I still have to use the same bin downstairs for everything. It feels like no one really has a clear system or separate recycling sections, so people just toss all their rubbish together in the bins.”
