“Washing machines in every apartment, or even on every block.”
“On the walls, ceilings, and floors, you can basically hear everything no matter where you’re standing. I could even make out what was going on at the top of the building from down on the ground floor. That’s why you need thicker walls, thicker floors, thicker ceilings, and really just thicker everything overall.”
“I wish there were more shared spaces to study.”
“The toilet is absolutely awful. It’s way too small, and it feels like one of those airplane toilets.”
“There’s more room to move around in the kitchen.”
“We need more mixers for the residents, and more mixed-use apartments.”
“If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be the communication between the maintenance team and the students living here. We have had a fair number of problems with the heating. It would switch on and off, and we only seemed to hear about it a few times. There weren’t that many updates compared to how often it actually happened. Also, honestly, considering how much I was paying for accommodation, I expected a little bit more. That said, I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time in the student accommodation and I would absolutely, definitely come back again.”
“The gym is part of the accommodation price.”
“The road repairs behind the apartment that were supposed to begin three years ago”
“Having access to washing machines that are really good quality.”
