“The place was really loud at night, especially when I was trying to get to sleep, and I found that genuinely disruptive. I also think there’s a cannabis issue in the accommodation. At the start of the year, we were told in the induction talk by the on campus police that we wouldn’t get into trouble for having it, and a lot of students seemed to take that as permission to smoke in and around the building. That meant the corridors were always smelling of cannabis, and we had frequent fire alarm evacuations because of it too.”
