“The main thing I’d like to see improved is the ability to reserve a studio for students who are starting in January. Right now, I personally didn’t have that option because I began university in January, and I couldn’t book a studio. It only seemed to be available for people starting in September. If this could be changed, it would make things a lot easier, especially for those of us who really want a private space. If it can be added at any point in the future, I’d be very grateful.”

“There’s more room for storage in the kitchen, both in the fridge and the cupboards. That said, it feels a bit tight for eight people trying to keep all their stuff.”

“The place doesn’t feel very clean. There’s a lot of dust and I’ve already seen insects, and I’ve only been here for three days.”

“I really wish there were more covered outdoor seating areas, since it rains all the time and it’s hard to get together with friends outside. (Using the indoor spaces might also bother the other tenants.)”

“We’re really trying to keep everything clean, but the cleaning system and the equipment we use, like the hoovers, just aren’t that good. Because of that, we’re not able to clean as well as we’d like.”

“I’ve complained a bunch of times about my neighbour, and because he has a disability, nothing gets done about it. I know I’m not the only one on my floor who has a disability either, but they still won’t help.”

“It’s basically just the washing machines. There aren’t nearly enough machines for how many people are walking around in the halls.”

“There were a bunch of construction problems with my flat. I can’t say if other flats had the same issues, so I’m not sure how widespread it is.”
