“I really liked having more room to study and also meet up with the other students.”

“I really wish there was a vending machine or a small store inside where you could grab cold drinks and snacks.”

“Honestly, the only thing I’d change is being able to get parcels on the weekend. Right now you can only receive them when someone’s staffed, and that’s still a big help. The downside is if something arrives on Saturday or Sunday, or even late on Friday, you can’t collect it until the following Monday. If I had to choose one improvement, it would be that.”

“Laundry service. There aren’t enough machines for how many people live in the building, and it’s really pricey, especially if you’re on a student budget.”

“Could you make the cinema room a little warmer?”

“Honestly, so far I feel like I like everything here. I don’t really see a reason to change anything. I mean, I’ve only been here about four or five months, but I’m really enjoying it. Everyone’s been great, so there’s nothing I’d want to adjust.”

“We switched to a different laundry service because the machines just aren’t working properly. It would also be great if they could deliver and pick up parcels on weekends. Unfortunately, there are quite a few issues with them.”

“It would be better if access to the reception was available at all times. For example, things like the hoover and parcel deliveries should be sorted properly. Also, whoever handles bookings really needs to communicate more clearly with the building management. It feels like that side has been missing a lot. They should also think carefully about how rent instalments will work going forward, and make sure every resident is treated fairly. I’ve heard complaints that different people are being given different rules. That said, the building staff themselves are fantastic. Everyone is really lovely and genuinely goes out of their way to help.”
