“There’s a lot more parking available, and the internet connection feels much more dependable now.”

“It’s the lack of noise control outside the building after the 11pm curfew. Since the security team isn’t on site most of the time, especially after the staff go home at 5pm, there’s nobody around to stop groups from hanging out outside and making noise late at night. Sometimes it’s as late as 4am, and people are still out front talking loudly. The building’s shape makes everything echo, so even if you’re on the fourth floor, it feels like the sound is right outside your window. I honestly wouldn’t be able to sleep without my earplugs. If security were actually on site from midnight to 4am, they could handle the noise themselves. Instead, we end up calling to complain, and by the time we do, there’s nobody there to fix it.”

“For some reason, I can never get the neighbors who live around the place to stop starting construction super early in the morning, or to get their dogs to stop barking early too.”

“The wooden partitions between the flats and rooms are really thin, you can hear the other flatmates talking pretty clearly.”

“The facilities feel more current, which is nice. But the room itself is really old and kind of grimy. It definitely needs a fresh coat of paint and some proper updating. They’ve put in new beds and tables, which helps a lot. I’d also change the layout, and maybe make it a little larger so there’s more space to move around comfortably. The showers should be bigger too. And it would be great if there were one hose for the sinks instead of separate hot and cold taps, since right now the water only comes out lukewarm anyway.”
