“I think the university should do more maintenance checks before the students move in, because there were quite a few issues right when we arrived.”
“I think the fridges and freezers in the accommodation need an upgrade. In my flat there are 11 people, but only two fridges, so everyone ends up with about half a shelf each. I know this might not be a problem in smaller flats, but for the larger ones I really believe the appliances should be big enough to suit everyone.”
“We weren’t told about the noise from the student bar and the delivery trucks, and honestly that’s something that really needs improvement. It’s severely disruptive, so they could have given us a heads-up, or at least made the accommodation cheaper.”
