“I think there are a few things that could be improved. First, I’d really like to see the bathrooms redesigned, because they don’t feel inclusive enough. I’m a Black girl, and the shower head is mounted up high, like the fixed one at the top. There’s no handheld shower attachment for you to adjust or control. Because of that, it’s really not working well for my hair, and I honestly don’t like it. It feels like the setup is mainly meant for people with straight hair who don’t mind getting their hair wet. Also, there’s mold. I’ve noticed mold on the ceiling in my room, and there’s mold in the bathroom too. Lastly, I think it would help to add more activities that bring the community together, so people can actually meet each other and make friends. That’s basically what I wanted to say.”

“Fewer inspections and more room for students to make their own choices.”
“There are more things to do in the courtyard.”
“We definitely need more study spaces. Right now there’s only one shared lounge for everyone, and it’s quite small. It also acts as a games room, so it’s not really suitable for studying, and it’s usually noisy and busy. As a student accommodation, it would be great to have additional places to work. I personally never manage to study in there, so I end up traveling into uni just to get my work done.”
“Having a calm study room added on, separate from the ping pong, pool tables, and TVs.”
“It was less expensive, and the kitchen cleaning was noticeably better.”
