“Our apartment has a decent sized living room, and it would really help if the place also provided a television to make everything feel a bit more lively.”
“There are more choices when it comes to room differences. Right now you basically have a cheaper option and a pricier one. They both include the exact same facilities, but the more expensive rooms were built more recently, so they feel a bit more up to date. I also know, and I think others would agree, that people would be willing to pay a little extra for things like double beds or larger bathrooms rather than a tiny wet room. The bigger issue is accessibility. There aren’t any disabled-friendly rooms on campus at all, not even one. None of the student rooms have disabled toilets either, because they all look the same. There’s also no lift, so wheelchair users can only access the first floor, which cuts down the number of rooms available. Realistically, a wheelchair would never fit in a small, cramped wet room. On top of that, there’s no proper seating inside the shower for anyone who struggles to stand, and there are no grab bars fixed to the walls for support. There also definitely isn’t an emergency cord. And even if there are accessible rooms somewhere else instead of on campus, it still doesn’t feel fair to separate disabled students from everyone else and take away the chance to make friendships.”
“The inside areas look nice at first, but the quality is really questionable. A lot of the furniture is just veneer, and it can chip off or start peeling when it gets moisture, which makes everything feel cheap and not very well thought out.”
“The social scene could be better. We need more events in our neighborhood, for the residents.”
“The shower handle just needs fixing, and that’s the only issue in that room.”
