It genuinely scares me every time it happens, and honestly, it’s not like we can control that. You can’t expect there to be no hot vapour when you’re cooking, so it feels like we’re set up to lose either way. When the staff have to come and switch it off, they usually seem annoyed, and they end up blaming us like, “Of course there’s steam, you were cooking.” Then we end up feeling awful, embarrassed, and it ruins the rest of our night.”
