“The accommodation office needs to listen to student complaints and handle them properly, instead of being aggressive and rude to students. It really feels like they do not value the students, and people are treated very badly. They also have a poor system for allocating students. They should place mature students with mature students rather than mixing everyone together. On top of that, they do not provide basic facilities for students’ comfort. For example, the study chairs are not designed for sitting and studying. They are hazardous and can affect students’ health. When students raise issues, they either get told off or completely ignored. The emails students send to request help or changes are always ignored by the accommodation staff. Overall, the staff are very rude and not approachable at all. It is terrible accommodation, lacking basic facilities, and it is not worth the money students are paying. The overall arrangements are really bad. They show one thing on their website and promise facilities that are up to standard, but in reality it is the complete opposite, and the quality is very poor. Honestly, it is very disappointing. It is not at the standard of living students deserve. It should be shut down. I will never recommend it to anyone.”
