“They have access to sports facilities. There used to be basketball courts on the property, but now they’re either pretty run-down or they’re being taken over for the new housing development. Other than that, there aren’t any sports facilities here.”

“The heating is all over the place. If it isn’t working, the room is freezing. If it is on, it gets boiling hot, and it even smells like burning.”

“I’d try to cut down on the noise in the student village. If the quiet hours rules were enforced more strictly, I think it would make a big difference.”

“The place I stayed came with a bus pass, and since the only way to reach campus from there was the bus, I figured it would stick to its timetable and not cut out certain trips, especially during peak lecture hours. It didn’t, though. A lot of students on HSV ended up missing lectures because the bus either never turned up when it was supposed to, or when it finally did arrive there wasn’t enough room, or we were already too late for class.”
