“The en-suite bathroom sink uses compression tap systems. Right now, the unit has two separate compression taps and outlets, one for hot and one for cold. That means getting hot water can be a bit limited until the temperature is low enough to be comfortable and practical to use. Ideally, instead of having two separate spouts for hot and cold, the sink would be better with a single shared spout that both taps feed into. That way, the user could control the water temperature more easily. If nothing changes, it could make it harder to make sure younger students keep up with proper, regular hand-washing over the winter months coming up, especially given the current pandemic.”
