“Right now, the WhatsApp group chat we had for the whole building is shut down. The reason is that a lot of people use it when the fire alarm goes off instead of sticking to the proper procedure. I think that’s a serious mistake on their part, because it’s not just another way to message our flatmates. It’s also supposed to be used to let them know whether there’s a real fire or just a false alarm.”

“The construction is taking longer than I expected, and honestly I probably should’ve moved out last year.”

“Daylight blinds, especially if you have a balcony. I’m on the ground floor across from a public road and pavement, so people sometimes look in. That makes me really uncomfortable, so I end up keeping my curtains shut most of the time. As a result, I don’t get to enjoy natural light as much as I’d like.”
