“I really appreciated the idea of being upfront about what the place actually offers, but in practice it felt misleading. The website lists the top end prices for rooms, and about 85% of the studios in the complex just do not look like that at all. When I checked in, I was genuinely let down by the room I was assigned. Before booking, I asked clearly what the difference was between the different studio types, like bronze versus silver. I was told the main difference was just the size. So I went ahead and booked a silver studio. The problem was that once I arrived, it was obvious the difference was not only about size. My room felt old and grimy. The bathroom walls had splash marks and stains everywhere. The floor looked more like something you would see in a classroom than a bedroom. There were still crumbs in the oven and microwave combo, which was honestly pretty disappointing. The mirror was stuck onto the tiny wardrobe door with cellotape, and there was no proper flooring for the wardrobe, so you could clearly see the panels underneath. The whole place looked run down. The only good part was that I was able to move into a diamond studio, and then I got the standard of room I thought I was paying for. Of course, that came with an extra cost, and it is not cheap at all. I also later learned the car park is not secured with a gate right now, so it is free at the moment. But when the gate is installed, I will have to pay about £250 to £300 to keep my car parked here, on top of the already very high room rate. Overall, I am really not impressed with the experience.”
