Bridgewater Heights is a great place for students to stay when you first move to Manchester. The staff are really friendly and they help you sort out any issues in your room quickly, like fixing cupboards or getting the shower head working again, usually within a few minutes. The studio has everything you need. On top of that, the location is super convenient. You can walk to the university in about 15 minutes, and it also takes around 15 minutes to get to the city centre. Honestly, you should come live here. You’re going to have a really wonderful experience in Manchester.

The only thing I really want to point out that could be improved is the lift system. In most apartments, you just press the button for the floor you want and you can go straight there. But in our building, the lift only lets you access the floor where you live. So if we want to visit a friend on another floor, we have to go to the zero floor first, and then our friend has to come pick us up to their level. Because of that, it takes longer to use the lift, and there is a lot more waiting involved. This is especially true during peak times, both in the morning and in the afternoon. It feels even harder for our apartment since the building is quite tall, and for people who live on higher floors like us. Honestly, I always worry in the morning about how long it will take me to get the lift, including the waiting time. I feel like I spend a lot of time dealing with the lift, particularly when it is busy. So overall, I find it inconvenient and a bit tricky. That said, I do understand why they set it up this way. I think it improves security and makes the building safer. So even though it brings some inconvenience, I could live with it since I did not really find any other solutions. This is just the one part I did not feel comfortable with. But if it is truly for better security, then I guess it does not matter.

There’s a gym and also a quiet room for self study. If the study space on the M floor could be renovated to feel more like the AH study room, I think more students would be interested in living here. The gym could also use some updates with newer facilities. And honestly, I’d really like the pricing to be more student-friendly. I hope this place keeps improving and gets better over time. Thank you.
