“The window in my bedroom sits right next to a street light, and the blinds didn’t really keep the light out. I kept losing sleep until I finally figured out how to block it properly by placing two towels along the sides and the top. That said, the staff have been genuinely amazing. They were extremely helpful, and I honestly can’t thank them enough for how quickly they sorted out the issues. Even so, there have still been quite a few problems with the accommodation. For example, in the first week there was no hot water. Also, the fridge they provided was really small for a flat of five people. Even though we’ve all managed to work around the space and coordinate well, it’s only because two of my flatmates don’t usually cook that we can store enough food.”
