“If I could change one thing about my time at The Gate, it would be the social spaces. When you add more shared hangout and study areas with comfortable seating, it would make the whole place feel more relaxing and help people focus while they work. It would also make it easier for residents to connect and would strengthen the community vibe. On top of that, better sound control in the rooms would make day to day living feel smoother, since it would help everyone stay comfortable, quiet, and able to rest and concentrate.”

“There’s a much more connected social scene between the different flats.”

“The social areas and the amenities were nice to have, but what I really wanted was a bigger rent cut for the year, especially since we couldn’t access a lot of those facilities and spaces the whole time.”

“Most likely the reporting system. Lately I’ve been dealing with some antisocial behavior, and I really wanted an option to message security instead of having to call them.”

“Security has been better, the flatmates’ antisocial behavior is being handled more effectively, and the shower plumbing is improved too. That said, it still needs unblocking every week or it starts flooding.”
