“The gym is actually smaller than a car. The sink is basically just a salad mixing bowl. They only have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for more than 128 students. The lift never gets fixed. You can hear every single sound from the street through the window. There’s no proper bin collection spot, so you have to take the bins out every week. The carpet and curtain patterns give you a headache like those Magic Eye pictures. The study chair is honestly the worst one I’ve ever sat in.”

“Helping students connect with each other, especially during a time like this, really matters. It feels like life can get pretty lonely for international students. Everyone ends up staying in their rooms, and we barely get a chance to actually meet and talk with each other.”

“The design is great, and I like that there is security or staff on duty all day, every day.”

“The laundry is free, which is great, and there’s also parking. It feels like there should be a proper car park nearby, and they could include something like that in the package. The room could be repainted in a lighter colour as well. It would be really helpful if they offered some kind of catering option to help students save money. Also, the reception should be on a different floor. And it should be possible to visit other students who live here.”
