“I’m really pleased with everything. That said, if I had to pick one thing, I’d want more cleaning staff. Right now, one person is responsible for cleaning a place that houses 65 people, and that’s a huge job.”

“To follow up on the earlier question, there really is a strong feeling of community, but it does seem a bit exclusive. It feels like there is a “core” group that gets to enjoy that closer, more privileged sense of belonging, while other people end up on the outside. They aren’t unfriendly, but I think if there was more clarity around boundaries and general etiquette in shared spaces, the community would feel stronger for everyone. I don’t feel like there’s anything urgent that needs fixing, but I do think the support and care should be for all students, not just a few who sometimes end up acting like self-appointed representatives. On the food side, I get that there are practical and financial limits, but I still think a more varied menu would have helped international students feel more included.”

“The rooms could use better airflow. I understand those window blockers are there for safety, but they make it really hard to get fresh air circulating in every bedroom.”
