> The turnstiles won’t let you through, so you can’t bring suitcases or any heavy stuff in that way, and the staff in the office won’t open the car gates. The turnstiles and car gates seem to be broken all the time. And there are rats running around too.

> Atlantic Point has really friendly staff, though there were two people we and one of my flatmates had issues with. They basically told us things about the policy that weren’t true, and tried to get us to do less work, but we honestly barely see them, so it hasn’t been a huge problem. Other than that, everything’s been pretty great.

> Some of the newer students can be a bit loud and rowdy, but I feel like that’s just something you’ll run into anywhere. The common areas are fine, but I didn’t choose to live here for that.
>
> The bathrooms are a good size, and I really like how hot the showers get. The desk is also really solid, and that big bottom drawer is amazing for storing stuff like my craft supplies, including my Warhammer. The bedside table has plenty of space for my video games, and the shelving fits my figure collection well. The wardrobe is pretty roomy too, which I like, even if I don’t have enough hangers for it yet.
>
> There are loads of plug sockets, which is honestly a big deal for me. Glide, the WiFi provider, is decent, but it can fall behind sometimes, and the guest WiFi is pretty bad. Atlantic Point’s guest policy is genuinely good, and the kitchen inspections feel reasonable. Maintenance usually responds quickly, but there have been a couple times last year where things were a bit unreliable.
>
> The rooms are spacious and the higher ceilings were a big priority for me. Last year I had a larger window, but this year it’s smaller. I don’t mind it though, because being on the lower floor has improved the temperature a lot and made it easier to manage, especially during summer.
>
> The bed is a double, which I love, and there’s a decent amount of storage under it. I’d really recommend keeping your moving boxes under there.

> I’d renovate the rooms to bring them a little more up to date.
