> Overall, my time at Beckley Point was really positive. The staff are both friendly and know what they’re doing. Whenever something goes wrong, the maintenance team sorts it out quickly, and they are clearly very hardworking. The whole place is kept clean and organized, and it always looks well maintained. Events are also promoted clearly, and the job alert board is genuinely helpful for students who want a part time role to support their studies.

> The only downside is that some room options do not feel like great value. The standard flats with shared facilities are quite small, so there isn’t much space to move around. The two bed flats and studios are a better size, but they do cost more.

> I’d like the shared spaces in my place to be cleaned properly, not just left as they are. I also think the lift call-out service needs to be much better, especially when lifts are broken. On top of that, the security feels weak, since it’s basically just one person covering nights. The pipe issue has been an absolute nightmare too. Even when I report it, it seems like no one else does, and I can hear it all day across the building. And the shower temperature is all over the place, going from barely warm to scalding, and it keeps changing even when I try to adjust it. Honestly, the washing machines are disgusting, the prices are way too high, and the dryers don’t dry anything.
