> I’d really like the university to stick to the licence agreements and take student safety seriously. Also, the university accommodation feels like it hasn’t been updated in what must be decades. A lot of the rooms are damp and the paint is cracked. The heating and cooling are all over the place, so some rooms are unbearably hot while others are freezing. The bathrooms are starting to rust, and there are ongoing pipe problems. The gardens never seem to get properly looked after. Most of the beds are broken, and the mattresses that are provided just aren’t adequate.

> On top of that, the internet keeps going down. Storage is basically missing too. There used to be shelving, but now there’s nothing, and the brackets are still there with only a tiny wardrobe. The kitchens also don’t have enough space for everyone, so they often can’t comfortably fit the number of residents. The fridges are frequently broken, and there’s barely any room even when they work. The cupboards are moldy, which is really not great when you’re storing food like bread and other perishables.

> The shared space is set apart from the kitchen. It would be more convenient to have a table in the kitchen, and the living area would feel a lot less messy.

> The WiFi is better now, but before it was really bad. There was basically no signal anywhere in the house. Also, they didn’t seem to be taking care of the bathroom.
