> We’ve got a really serious mold and damp problem all the way through the house. Pretty much everything runs on electricity, and we’re using a NI Power top up meter. The heaters are on Economy 7, but it still ended up being so expensive that we basically went through the whole winter without putting the heating on. The windows are also letting in major drafts, which just makes the damp worse and makes the mold situation feel even more out of control.
>
> The bathroom and the washing cupboard venting isn’t enough either, so mold keeps building up. We’ve had dehumidifiers running nonstop, 24/7, just to keep on top of it. One of my roommates also had a leak coming in from the attic when it rains heavily, and the landlord hasn’t done anything about it.
>
> On top of all that, there was no mold cleaning done before we moved in, so we had to deep clean everything ourselves. Overall, the ventilation is just poor across the whole flat.

> The place could be a lot cleaner outside. The front and back area both need attention, and there aren’t enough bins. On top of that, the bins we did get were the wrong colours, so I had to chase them a few times and we still don’t have enough.
>
> In the halls, the carpet really needs replacing. There are stains everywhere, and sometimes it even smells. It can also get very cold during winter.
>
> In the apartments, the blinds are mouldy and they do nothing to block out light or help with heat. You can lose heat through the blinds and the windows because there are draughts, and the dampness is what’s causing the mould to grow. I’ve also had to ask multiple times for basic fixes like the toilet and the heating. Overall, the housekeeping needs to be kept up better.

> When I moved in, the electricity was set up on the right tariff, so I didn’t have to deal with it like the landlord told me to wait until Monday, even though it was Friday and the whole flat runs on electric. Also, the floors had been cleaned before I moved in.
