> Since Christmas, we’ve had ongoing heating problems. The walkway from Block 7 to the rest of the accommodation has been shut off for repairs, and the hot water in Block 7 has been really unreliable. Five months on, it still hasn’t been sorted, even though the place was basically empty for about four weeks over Easter. On top of that, there’s been scaffolding outside my window for months, and the builders don’t seem to be doing anything to fix the roof. Other than all of that, though, I’ve had a really good experience with the hall.

> The building work is still ongoing, and there’s quite a lot happening throughout the university year. Because of that, the accommodation doesn’t look very nice from the outside. It also creates a lot of issues inside our hall. For example, we were left without heating for at least a month. On top of that, we’ve had constant problems with the hot water, and there were days when the whole hall had no hot water at all. I’d really like the work to be done over the summer, when students aren’t there, so these kinds of problems don’t end up affecting us.
