> I honestly feel like Pentland is really far out from the centre of the city, and that makes day to day things a lot harder to reach for the people who live there. On top of that, you basically have to travel a fair bit, like you’re going to be spending around forty five minutes just to get to college every day. One thing the university really needs to take into account is how clear it is that student support is missing, especially when it comes to transport. I’d genuinely like the university to look at offering concessions, or maybe even arrange a few bus trips for students who live in Pentland. That would make commuting easier and more affordable, particularly because everything is so expensive already, even something as basic as public transport in Edinburgh.

> I have had university building staff come into my bedroom without getting proper permission, and they never ask for my consent. None of these visits were emergencies either. I have already emailed the team formally to request that this stops, and I also asked them to explain my rights as a tenant. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. At this point, I’m seriously thinking about moving out, but that would cost me both time and money. I’m still considering it because the disruption and distraction have been so significant. What I really want is for the university to stop doing this.
