> The back doors in the bathrooms have hooks on them. In the kitchen there are small shelves. There’s a TV in the common room. There’s also a rack for drying clothes, or a separate area to fold and iron your laundry since it’s in the communal kitchen. And there’s another washer in the second kitchen, or a dishwasher.

> I really hope this review leads to some real change and helps the accommodation improve. Honestly, I feel like my feedback is pretty much the same as what a lot of other students on campus would say. People mention that it feels “homely” because the campus is small and everything is close by, but that doesn’t really make much of a difference overall.

> I’ve tried the catering for meals a few times, and it wasn’t very good. They should definitely work on that. Also, in some of the accommodation buildings, laundry facilities are not included, so you end up paying extra, around 5 to 10 quid each time. They really need to think about students who are on a tight budget.
>
> On top of that, the cleaning and housekeeping where I stay isn’t great. We constantly have to chase their supervisor and complain about it each time. Overall, the place is nice for the atmosphere, but it’s not good for hygiene.

> Coming to St Mary’s University as an international postgraduate student from India has mostly been a good experience for me, though there were a few bumps along the way. The campus itself is really lovely and fairly compact, so it’s easy to get around and not feel lost. I also found the team in the international office especially supportive during my first few weeks. On the academic side, my course felt well organized, and the lecturers were clearly experts in what they do, while also being genuinely approachable and helpful.

> The senior residents were genuinely involved, and the communication was much better, especially with the accommodation.

> If I could change one thing, I’d add more community events or activities to help bring the residents together. The atmosphere is already really supportive, and having more chances to socialize would make it easier to build stronger connections and improve everyone’s social life.
