Also, I would rather there be no hot plate, and instead have induction or an electric setup, since the current option feels like a safety risk. And honestly, the curtain color is not great either.”

“Honestly, I really don’t want to live in a crack den. The bathroom is basically like it was designed by someone who has never seen an aeroplane, because it’s so narrow and awkward. For what I’m paying, I should at least be able to move around properly in the shower, but it’s genuinely set up as an acute angle, so you’re just stuck. And then there’s the kitchen. Honestly, god help the kitchen. It has black carpet in it, and my roommates and I assumed it was black, until someone from the nicer flats told us it was actually blue. If you come to Sutton Bonington expecting the bare minimum, you might be okay, because the place will still manage to fall short. It feels like it was built for 40-plus men who are bored of their wives and want to move into some kind of mojo dojo case house. The zombie apocalypse probably won’t get us, but the management and the living conditions will. To be fair, the uni campus is great, but the accommodation…”
