“If there were more access to cleaning supplies, that would really help. I genuinely like keeping things clean, but as a student I don't have much spare money to buy mops, cleaning products, and things like that. Our flats don't have cleaners either, only the communal areas are looked after. We share a hoover between the flat, but it's really loud, so me and my flatmates avoid using it most of the time because we don't want to disturb anyone. Honestly, even having a mop in each flat, or some sort of push from the accommodation team to tidy rooms, would be great. It could also help if they stocked extra cleaning products at reception. That said, maybe I'm just a bit of a clean freak, and I'm sure plenty of other students don't mind things as much.”
