“The scheduling feels a lot more logical. With my Student visa for a single MSc that’s under two years, I would still have to relocate twice and sign three different contracts. Honestly, I could have just stayed in one place.”

“The number of rooms in each flat. Having 6 feels like too many people. I think setting a limit at 4 would work much better.”

“1) Better security would help. There have been multiple thefts of people’s parcels, and there was even a break-in at the admin office. 2) The fire alarm goes off at least once a week, and the staff who are called out take their time getting there to switch it off again. 3) There need to be more hoovers. With only 4 vacuum cleaners for more than 100 students, it just isn’t enough. 4) The washing machines and dryers also need improving. There aren’t enough for the number of students living here. 5) The kitchen in my flat is really outdated and damaged. There are cabinets without drawers, and even the front panels have fallen off. 6) The fridge-freezer light keeps turning off all the time, and the freezer section randomly stops working, which means tenants can’t safely store frozen food.”

“Create a shared lounge that everyone can actually use and enjoy. Put security cameras in place so parcels are tracked and you can keep an eye on what’s going on around the place. Add a proper gym, plus an indoor training area. Also, the laundry setup needs to be bigger. Seriously. For 80 people, having only two washing machines is a rip off. You’re already charging money for it, so you should add more. Some hotels arrange taxi service instead of relying on the bus. A lot of people are not comfortable taking the bus, so having a button to request a taxi would be really helpful. It feels a lot better than an Uber, in my experience. The kitchens and the rooms should be upgraded and updated. I could say more, but I can’t think of anything else right now.”

“Maybe having the same kind of cultures in the flat can sometimes lead to issues, especially when it comes to cooking and things like that.”

“The carpets need to be cleaned, and the beans should be separated for each student in the shared kitchen area.”
