“I’d say it comes down to the cost. I was in a flat in Home Park last year that was cheaper than this one, and the overall quality felt about the same. I can’t remember the exact price difference off the top of my head, though.”

“Strict curfew for Terrance, since people tend to get really loud when they throw parties in the shared common area.”
“The security feels stricter, but the main issue is still not really handled. A couple of things in the studio aren’t working the way they should.”
“The washing is terrible and it costs way too much.”
“Honestly, I’m 100% happy with where I stayed this year. I’ve been in Bournemouth for five years, and every year I ended up moving to a different place, but this year’s choice in Oxford Point has been the best by far. The only thing that would have made it even better is if there was a small gym room.”
“It would be really good if the place had proper car parking spaces. When you’re at uni, having a car would make life a lot easier and would genuinely improve things for a lot of students. You could get to places that are a bit further out, and it would also be less stressful when it comes to doing your food shopping.”
“The pool table is hilarious, honestly. Other than that, the facilities and the building overall are really top-notch.”
“More thorough cleaning, including the flat hallways too.”
“The bike storage is definitely better, but the security is pretty weak. You can jump over the wall and get into the bike area, and that’s exactly what happened, so my bike was stolen even though I had it locked up. It would be great to have better recycling too. A lot of things that should be recyclable are somehow not accepted in our accommodation. Also, a compost bin would be a really good idea, since so much food ends up getting thrown away. It would make the whole place feel more eco friendly.”
“Cost is still the main issue. If the price were lower, I could live with almost anything. The only thing I would definitely want to upgrade is the heater, even if it ends up costing me more.”
