“It’s been great having dependable power and hot water. The downside is we can’t really keep anything cold, so we can’t refrigerate or freeze food. Also, most of the time we’re not able to use our PCs, mini-fridges, or hairdryers.”

“I feel like there are a few things I’d like to see improved. The biggest one is the laundry. It doesn’t feel very accessible. There’s only one washing machine and one dryer for the whole building, so it’s hard to keep up with weekly loads. Most of the time, you end up waiting until you finally have access to that one machine, and then you end up doing a bunch all at once. That usually makes laundry cost a lot more. Other than that, a few items in the room seem like they break too easily. For instance, the bed frame at the bottom sometimes just starts coming apart. The mattress itself is totally fine, and I can still get to the bed and use it normally. It’s more like the frame has an issue, I guess. Finally, I’d say the wall feels a bit fragile. When I moved in, there were already scuffs on the wall, and I took photos to show it wasn’t anything I had done. Even so, if you lightly tap the wall, the paint chips off. Those are really my main concerns. Everything else is honestly up to standard, so I can’t complain about much else.”
