“I’d really prefer a normal, conventional oven instead of a hybrid microwave, and I wish the kitchen’s electricals wouldn’t keep tripping every few minutes unless I actually press a button.”

“The motion sensored bathroom light is a nice touch. That said, the whole hotel vibe doesn’t feel that great overall. I’d also improve the booking for the common room. Like, if I want to have friends over to watch a movie, I’d rather know the cinema area isn’t already taken. On top of that, I’d make the back area near the rubbish bins a lot easier to get to. Right now you have to take your rubbish out and then walk around the entire building because the back door has no handle. Finally, I’d set up an online ticketing system for maintenance and repairs. That way students can report issues directly instead of having to go through reception. It would also make sure requests don’t get missed, students can see that their request was received, and maintenance can prioritize things more effectively.”

“I really think the washing machines need an upgrade, because you basically can never get laundry done since they’re always broken. I would also improve the community area. It’s always crowded, so it’s hard to actually go out and socialize with people.”

“- there’s a bit more room in the kitchen - the laundry setup is cheaper - the wifi is more consistent, because Glide still isn’t really great, even when it’s fast sometimes - you get more space at the desk - the window opens all the way”
