“If I had to pick just one thing to improve, it would be the price. The place itself is really nice, but it feels extremely overpriced, especially for an Unite Students property. I’ve been looking around and I can see rooms that are basically the same in other cities, and they cost nowhere near as much. The location isn’t awful, but it is a bit farther out than a lot of other student houses. It’s probably around a 20 minute walk to some of the classes, and that doesn’t sound too bad at first, but for a lot of people it ends up being more of a hassle than you’d expect. Also, considering what we’re paying, it would be good to get some kind of discount for the gym. Our property doesn’t have a gym, and I know other Unite Students buildings do, but ours doesn’t because there’s a big university gym just across the road. Still, since we’re paying a lot, it would feel fair if we could be offered a reduced rate to use that gym, ideally arranged through Bucking us accommodation.”
