“I guess it’s an en suite, but I was aware of what I was signing up for when I applied!”

“On Friday and Saturday nights, there are a lot of Indians blasting music really loud, either at the front gate or the back gate. It’s way too late, and honestly it feels like they have nothing better to do. Pathetic.”

“The bed is bigger and way more comfortable.”

“The room doors aren’t fire safe. I get that maybe the outside door and the kitchen door need to be, but it’s honestly so frustrating that the room doors are super heavy. And they are really loud too.”

“The furniture in the common areas feels much better, especially with the more comfortable couches and the TV set up in the living room. I also noticed the chairs in the shared spaces, and even in the rooms, are way more comfortable. Plus, the yellow lighting is nicer and feels more relaxing than the white lights.”

“Private bathroom. And honestly, maybe another fridge too.”

“The kitchen appliances were clean, including the hob and oven. The fridge shelves weren’t broken either, and the double bed was in good shape.”

“I really would like an en suite bathroom, or at least a sink in my room, but the accommodation block I’m in doesn’t offer either. Also, the laundry setup is pretty buggy, and sometimes it’s really difficult to get it to work.”
