“Oh, bugger the fridges and freezers!”
“I really wish it were nearer to campus.”
“Kitchen space could be better with a larger fridge and freezer.”
“We could really use more bathroom space. Right now there’s only one toilet for the five of us, plus two showers. Two toilets and just one shower would feel a lot more comfortable.”
“The floorboards are a bit quieter now when I walk through the hallway. And the soundproofing seems to be better too.”
“The interior feels more up to date. And the security is quicker too.”
“The flats don’t really feel inviting because of how they’re laid out, and there’s nowhere for the flatmates to hang out together.”
“A few of the rooms have been refurbished, and some haven’t. It really depends on which block you’re in, but everyone pays the same price even though the experience is different. For instance, in Sidlaw the double rooms do not have a full headboard, and the accessibility rooms have been given to people who don’t actually need them since they’re basically being used as spare rooms. It feels unfair because they have more space and they’re still paying the same amount.”
“Safety means the doors are completely locked.”
“Please stop billing us for items that end up breaking. The reason they break is because the quality is really poor, and the accommodation keeps replacing things with even lower quality. And please stop charging us such outrageous prices for the broken items. It’s not worth that much.”
